Originally hailing from Massachusetts, Josh has been living in (and loving) the Bay Area since 1998. He now resides in Kensington. He has been a teacher and camp counselor for many ages and activities including sailing, team-building and ropes courses, rock climbing, and trip leading. For the last twelve years he has been teaching guitar to kids and adults and most recently has started to teach the ukelele. He teaches at his home studio and at a new location in South Berkeley. He also leads preschool music groups and works part time as a substitute preschool teacher. He is currently recording his first album for children and families which should be available by this coming holiday season. When he’s not teaching or playing music you can find him in the garden, cooking, or at the nearest Peet’s coffee.
